Today we hit our fourth century. We are alittle behind schedule, but we will try to pick it back up in Kansas. We are 50 miles away from the border of Missouri/Kansas. We are out of tbe Ozarks, and rode a lot on flat, straight roads, which is endless of farm land. We road for 67 miles in the morning till our lunch break. We stopped at Ash Grove for lunch, we went to Copper Grill to eat, which had great burgers. Took a three hour break and headed on to stop in Golden City. Here we found great people and we stayed at a park which usually were cyclists come for the night. Tomorrow we head toward Kansas!
Philip M Keating Fund for the Future.
"Phil's Fund" is a donor-advised charitable fund of the Arlington Community Foundation. The Fund will make grants to various organizations to which Phil volunteered his efforts, time, and talents.
On May 28, 2013 a group of four fit and ambitious friends of Phil, led by his good friend, Luis Gendive, soccer coach and native of Spain, will leave Yorktown, Virginia and pedal around 3,500 miles to San Francisco, California. Tentative plans are for some members of Phil's family to ride the first leg of the trip. If your not able to join the team on your bike, you can support them with a financial donation!
